Carriage Driving for single horses

• World Carriage Driving Championship for single horses, held at Companhia das Lezírias in which the Lusitano was the most represented breed – 2012
   
• In 2012 APSL initiated its support for the carriage driving discipline in instituting the “José Manuel de Mello” prize for the best Lusitano Carriage Driving Horse
   
• he Portuguese team of Frederico de Beck, António Maria Simões and José Freixa competes at the FEI WORLD DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIP FOR PAIRS 2013 in Topol'cianky, Slovakia – 2013
