Registration in the Studbook

How can I register a male horse?

There are currently 3 to 4 concentrations per year for male horses. There are, however,  annual updates, advance information on which will be given on our website.

The form required to request the attribution of a score to a horse is the "Commission Visit Request” and is available on our website, in addition to information on the respective dates that are published annually.

Requests for inspections must be received by APSL up to 10 days prior to each inspection.

How are scores attributed to horses?

Male horses are inspected when mounted and led by the hand. This inspection comprises a score to be attributed to the future studhorse and/or its rejection. We therefore recommend that horses should always be well presented and that their riders are suitably attired.

Although not subject to inspection, presentation is nevertheless assessed when horse and rider enter the arena.
