The National Horse Fair in Golegã hosts a diverse variety of equestrian events, including the Lusitano Breed Model and Movements Competition, the Portuguese Cup and the Final of the National Working Equitation Championship, the APSL and FEP Project for Young Lusitano Horses in Dressage, among other Dressage and Show Jumping Competitions.
