The growth of the presence of the Lusitano Horse in the USA led to the establishment of a Protocol 20 years ago with IALHA, which since then has worked directly with APSL and local breeders, regarding all registration procedures of animals and promoting several events.
As this market being of strategic importance for the Lusitano, the existence of an Association, only dedicated to our horse, assumes great relevance to achieve the desired dynamics and visibility.
Thus, APSL decided that, starting this August, the USLA - United States Lusitano Association, directed by Sheri Prucka, will be the Entity that will, together with APSL and all breeders and American owners, deal with all matters relating to registrations as well as organizing events that can promote the breed in that country.
We would like to extend our thanks to IALHA and to all those who have worked for the Lusitano over the past few years, wishing the best of success to USLA and remaining at the disposal of all so that this change can take place in the best way for everyone involved.
