The International Lusitano Horse Festival is held every June in Cascais and is supported by the Cascais City Council.
From 28 to 30 June, the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome will host this event, which is the most important of the breed worldwide.
Over the course of three days, the World Model and Movements Championship will take place, as well as various functional tests, Dressage, Portuguese Riding Style and an International Working Equitation Test, qualifying for the European Championships to be held in September in the Czech Republic.
On 29 June there will be an Equestrian Show with various presentations.
The deadline for registering animals for the competitions is 7 June and should be sent to the APSL email address: apsl@cavalo-lusitano.com.
Entry is free and the event will be broadcast via livestream.
