From the 24th to the 26th of February, at Quinta da Beloura, we had the first CDI 4* organized in Portugal.
APSL decided to associate itself with this event, where Lusitano horses performed at the highest level, and reward the best Lusitano horse in the Grand Prix competition.
The first day of competitions could not have a more auspicious start for the Lusitanos, with the victory of the horse Fénix de Tineo, and the Portuguese rider Maria Caetano, with a 70.804%, who thus won the prize awarded by the APSL.
Still in the Grand Prix test, 3 more Lusitano horses stand out, which finished in the top 10 places in the general classification, Escorial with the rider João Victor Oliva in 4th position with a result of 69.674%, Joba II with Duarte Nogueira in 7th position with 67.913 and Irânico with Vasco Mira Godinho in 9th place with 67.478%.
On the second day of competitions, in the Freestyle Grand Prix, the best Lusitano horse was Equador with the rider Martim Menéres who won 2nd place on the podium with a result of 73.380%.
The highlight was reserved for the last day of competition, in the Grand Prix Special test, the podium was composed only of Lusitano horses, with the horse Damasco and the rider Jeannette Jenny conquering the 3rd position with the result of 68.255%, the 2nd position went to the horse Irânico ridden by Vasco Mira Godinho with a result of 71.277%, very close to the winners Fénix de Tineo and Maria Caetano with a result of 71.681%.
